The resolution pertaining to abolishing the pension scheme for Members of Parliament is scheduled to be presented in Parliament today (07). The resolution will be tabled as a Private Members’ Motion. Reports suggest that accordingly, it will be presented to the Parliament by New Democratic Front (NDF) MP Ravi Karunanayake.
