Out of office, but he is there large as life!

A certain former provincial chief is said to be continuing to enjoy the perks and privileges of the post he no longer holds and attending to official functions at his previous workplace.
This chief, they say, continues to use the official vehicle to go about and security escort too continues to accompany him as before.
Very often he attends his former office and sends for officials and gives them instructions.
“This man has become a b…dy nuisance,” the officials would tell one another in hushed tones, they say.
