Schools across Sri Lanka that were closed due to the impacts of Cyclone Ditwah are set to reopen tomorrow, on the 16th. The Ministry of Education will meet with principals, teachers, and non-teaching staff today, the 15th, to make the necessary arrangements for the school's reopening. However, 147 schools that were affected by the disaster will not be able to restart classes tomorrow. Additionally, the Ministry of Education has announced a more relaxed policy regarding school uniforms for students, as well as for academic and non-academic staff in the disaster-affected areas.
