Residents of Mahara and Gampaha will experience a 15-hour water supply interruption on Wednesday, as announced by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board. This water cut is necessary for important maintenance work on pipelines linked to the construction of the Central Expressway. The water supply will be halted from 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 17th, until 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, the 18th.
