The Ministry of Finance in Sri Lanka has released a new circular about the relief efforts for people affected by the recent landslides and floods from cyclone Ditwah. This circular includes updates, clarifications, and changes aimed at improving the disaster relief program. These adjustments are based on the Budget Circular No. 08/2025, which was issued on December 5, 2025. The Finance Ministry has stated that items 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 14 in the related table from Budget Circular No. 08/2025 have been revised. The updated circular can be found below.
