LNP – Rs. 80 million allocated to 77th Independence Day celebrations: Govt.

The government has allocated Rs. 80 million for the 77th Independence Day celebrations, Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Dr. A.H.M.H Abayarathna said today.

He said the Ministry hopes to limit the expenditure within the allocated funds.

Responding to a question, the Minister said the other instituions such as the security forces will have seperate budgets.
