LNP – SLPP nominates Namal as National List MP

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has announced its decision to nominate Namal Rajapaksa as a Member of Parliament through the party’s National List.Â

This was confirmed by SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam during a press briefing held earlier today (16).

The announcement follows the results of the 2024 General Election, held on November 14, in which the SLPP secured only three parliamentary seats, including one through the National List.
