Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya has held discussions with the university studentsâ unions on Thursday (17).
During the discussion, attention was drawn to many unsolved problems faced by the university students so far regarding their studies and student welfare, the Prime Ministerâs Media Division said.
A group of representatives from many student associations including the Inter-University Studentsâ Federation (IUSF), Students â Mass Power for Right to Education, Medical Faculty Studentsâ Action Committee and all Medical Faculty Student Associations, Inter University Bikkhu Federation, Inter Higher National Diploma Studentsâ Federation, Ocean University Studentsâ Union, Student Union of Institute of Engineering and Technology, Engineering Faculty Studentsâ Union â University of Moratuwa had participated in this discussion.
