The one hour and 20 minutes power cut will be extended from tomorrow due to a minor breakdown repair of unit one of the Norochcholai coal power plant, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said.
They said the repairs of the plant will take at least 14 to 16 days.
However, the official announcement of the power cut will be released once approved by PUCSL.
The power cut for today will remain at one hour and 20 minutes.
