LNP – 745 fresh COVID-19 cases reported today

A total of 745 more COVID-19 patients have been detected within today, the Government Information Department said.
Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka stands at 559,605.

  • The infection rate is very high compared to the population for a nation which claims that 70 % are fully vaccinated. This is due to use of a vaccine with low efficacy.
