A total of 628 suspects have been arrested in possession of drugs and illicit liquor during a 4-hour special raid conducted in the Western Province yesterday.
Police said the raid was conducted from 4 p.m. to 8p.m yesterday for the purpose of suppressing corruption.
During the raid, the police arrested 270 suspects on possession with heroin, Cannabis and ICE drugs while 216 suspects were arrested with illicit liquor.
Seventeen persons were also arrested for driving under influence of alcohol.
