LNP – Tuition classes likely to get green light in two weeks: State Minister

Tution classes might be allowed to resume subject to heath restrictions in a fortnight, State Minister Susil Premajayantha told Parliament today.

Responding to an orlal question raised by SJB MP Mujibur Rahman, State Minister Premajayantha said tution classes will be allowed to resume within two weeks, if the heath authorities give the green light.

“It might be possible to resume tution classes with limited number of students as schools will also be opened gradually in two weeks time,” the State Minister said

Also the State Minister said over 800,000 students have been given COVID-19 vaccines as of now. ‘We will provide vaccines to students with health complications as soon as possible” he also said
