LNP – No toll fee for Ambulances using expressways from today: Minister

The Government has decided not to collect the toll fee from ambulances using the expressways due to the pandemic situation prevailing in the country, Highways Minister Johnston Fernando said.

The Minister instructed the Ministry Secretary to exempt all ambulances from paying toll fees for using the expressways starting from today until further notice.

He also said the decision was made taking into consideration the prevailing situation in the country.
