LNP – PCR tests to be increased to 30,000 per day

The health authorities are planning to increase the number of PCR tests to be conducted for a day to 30,000 from 24,000, an official said.

The official said there are more than 24,000 PCR tests conducted currently per day, but plans are in place to increase it to around 30,000 to tackle the surging Covid-19 situation of the country. Once a PCR test is done, people are requested to remain isolated till the results are out.
