‘Palmyrah Fund’ launched

The ‘Palmyrah Fund’ to provide assistance for the development of the North and the East, was launched under the auspices of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees yesterday. The Fund is an initiative proposed by Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera in his Budget 2019 speech. National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement, Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs Ministry Secretary V.
