Hemas Hospitals yesterday announced the divestiture of Hemas Southern Hospital, taking a significant step to intensify its growth strategy and new business lines.
An experienced healthcare service provider Asiri Hospitals has acquired the Hemas Southern Hospital for a value of Rs.450 million.

Going forward, Hemas Hospitals in Thalawathugoda and Wattala will evolve into super-specialty medical and healthcare, state-of-the-art facilities, providing for critical care.
Hemas Labs will transform as one of the most technologically-advanced laboratories in Sri Lanka, servicing the country and selected foreign markets. In addition, Hemas Hospitals plans to expand their business to international markets.
