Development of Palali Airport

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the combined proposal presented by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Development and John Amaratunge, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, to develop Palali Airport using Rs. 1,965 million investment, to operate inland commercial flights.

Bill for National Financial Management Act

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance and Media to prepare a Bill for the National Financial Investment Act including the recommendations of the committee of experts.

Agreement between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Mangala Samaraweerea, Minister of Finance and Mass Media to enter into an agreement with the Government of Saudi Arabia to avoid Double Taxation and Failure to pay taxes on income.

Agreement between Sri Lanka and Belarus Republic

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Science and Technology, Research, Skills Development and Vocational Training and Upcountry Heritage, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Belarus Republic to strengthen science and technological cooperation between the two countries.
