We are planning to set 500 sports centers with all the facilities island wide to every district within the three years. It will help to produce more medal prospective athletes at international competitions. I have told about this to the Minister of Education.

“We have sent athletes in every sport to the Asian Games but didn’t get a single medal. We want to set up a plan for athletes not only to participate but to win medals as well in the future,” the Prime Minister said.
