Students with train season allowed on buses FOC

The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association says school children with railway season tickets will be allowed to travel in buses free of charge.

Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne speaking to NewsRadio said the decision was reached to ensure students sitting the 2017 GCE Ordinary Level Examination that commences tomorrow, do not face any inconveniences as a result of the ongoing railway strike.
