The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has issued fuel 55 percent more than the daily issuance from Thursday (9) until yesterday, Acting Sales Manager W.D.L.C. Abeygunawardene said today.
He said excess amounts of fuel including Lanka Petrol Octane 92 and 95, Diesel and Kerosene had been distributed by them to CEYPETCO filling stations Islandwide.
Therefore he said that there should be no fuel shortage at any of their filling stations at present. However he requested consumers to inform them if such shortages occur on the hot-line 011-5455130.
