Three-wheel regulatory authority to be formed

The All Ceylon Three-Wheel Owners Association says Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera agreed to establish the three-wheel regulatory authority within two months.

Speaking to NewsRadio, Chairman of the association Sudhil Jayaruk said the Finance Minister instructed relevant officials in this regard.

He said due to the association holding discussions at length with the Minister of Finance with regards to implementing the three-wheel regulatory authority that was presented before parliament and not yet activated, the Minister has agreed and had informed the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, and the secretaries to the Ministry of Finance to bring about the implementation of the authority within the next two months.
