The case filed against United Peopleâs Freedom Alliance Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and five others for illegally generating cash amounting to 30 million rupees in a transaction carried out between a company owned by MP Rajapaksa and another firm will be taken up for hearing once again today.
The case will be heard before the Colombo High Court.
The Attorney General during the previous hearing requested Court to proceed with the case despite the absence of two defendants.
