PM makes special statement in Parliament on Central Expressway

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna today (08) accused in Parliament that one meter of Central Expressway is estimated to cost 4.1 million rupees.

The JVP Leader, Anura Kumara Dissanayake said this in response to a statement made by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on the tender process relating to the Central Expressway.

Here, the PM stressed the contract was awarded in a transparent manner.

He said two Japanese firms were selected for the construction of the 3rd phase of the Expressway to expedite the work.
