CERT declares August Cyber-Security month

The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team has declared August the Cyber-Security month to implement several cyber security programs throughout the country.

Chief Information Security Engineer Roshan Chandraguptha stated that the CERT team will be conducting several work-shops and programs to coincide with cyber-security month and increase awareness among the Sri Lankan populace.

Accordingly as a culmination of cyber security month, a special program will be organized on August 31, in Colombo with the participation of several international cyber security experts.
