Increase of motor fines is unfair on the public – MR
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that the increase of the minimum fine for certain motor-traffic offences is unfair to numerous income-groups of the Sri Lankan populace.
Speaking to the media at a political gathering in Gampaha, the former president stated that certain low-income earning groups and three-wheeler drivers will find it difficult to meet with the new impositions.
