Govt. changed laws which stop local assets being sold to foreign investors – Mahinda

Former President, Mahinda Rajapakse stated that the current government has changed the legislature within the country which prevented local assets from being sold to foreign investors.

Furthermore, he added that the government has already taken steps to sell land within the country to foreign investors.

The sentiments were brought out during a ceremony held in Mount Lavinia.
