Railway Engine Drivers have decided to temporarily call off their strike action scheduled for tonight following a discussion with the Deputy Minister of Transport Ashok Abeysinghe.

The Locomotive Engineering Operators̢۪ Union (LEOU) were preparing to launch a strike from midnight today (01) based on several demands.
