After almost six days of lackluster performance, the trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange returned to a positive territory today.
The All Share Price Index moved up by 6.71 points to 6,669.05 and S&P SL20 increased by 8.67 points to close the session at 3,830.56.
Turnover was 318.9 million rupees and 22.1 million shares were traded.
The turnover has reduced while volume has increased with a moderate foreign participation resulting in a marginal net foreign inflow into the market, which was 39 million rupees.
The top gainers were PC Pharma, S M B Leasing [X], Blue Diamonds [X], Tess Agro [X] and E â Channelling.
