(JMSDF) vessels arrived at the Colombo Harbour.

Two Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) vessels arrived at the Colombo Harbour yesterday (July 20) on a good will visit. Among them, IZUMO is the Flag Ship and the biggest vessel of the JMSDF.

The ship which is 248 m in length and 38m in width, has a complement of 970 naval personnel. Captain Yoshihiro Kai is the Commanding Officer of the IZUMU. IZUMO is flanked by two tugs at the Colombo Port.(Pic courtesy navy)
