The Colombo High Court has issued the death sentence to three individuals charged with two counts of murder.
According to the Ada Derana court correspondent, the ruling was made by the Colombo High Court Judge, Wikum Kaluarachchi.
The Judge issued the death sentence after making the ruling of a case involving the murder  of two brothers and a cousin in Gangodawila, which took place in April 1993.
The trio had been killed as a result of a family dispute.
The suspect named for the murder of the third victim, the cousin, had reportedly died amidst the case proceedings.
Accordingly, the death sentence was issued to the three suspects â a woman and two men â for the murder of the two brothers.
