Accordingly, reports indicate that Mathews is due to submit his letter of resignation to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today (12).
Sources say that Angelo Mathews made the decision to resign following the Sri Lankan teamâs recent defeat to Zimbabwe in the ODI series, which was subjected to much criticism.
