Sri Lanka police offered Rs. one million reward for information that could lead to an arrest of the culprits responsible for the theft in the National Museum.

Sri Lanka police offered Rs. one million reward for information that could lead to an arrest of the culprits responsible for the theft in the National Museum.
Police media spokesman Superintendent of Police Ajith Rohana said that the information could be passed to the telephone numbers 011 2328138 and 011 2320141.
Artifacts with a significant historical value were stolen from the National Museum in March and police had not been successful in finding any clues regarding the theft.
Inspector General of Police N.K. Ilangakoon recently said that the culprits of the museum theft would be produced in court within a fortnight.

This is just a 'Joke', if realy want to catch the 'Thief' give information of the stolen item to 'Interpol' to be vigilent in 'Antique Galleries' all over the world.
Rs one million is just a 'Lolipop' to the thief who knew how to buckle up CCTV and Alarm systems . Why not get seach warrents and search pop up suspects residenses lodging places and relatives homes erespectable to their government status or political connection . But if the item has already gone out of the country that proves this case have been done by one or group of people who are with 'High Authority'. This is a big ashame to the country after lost of Tsunami Funds. |
