SC rules Colombo and Kolonnawa councils violated fundamental rights of residents by illegal Meethotamulla waste dumping

The Supreme Court has decided that both the Colombo Municipal Council and the Kolonnawa Urban Council infringed on the fundamental rights of residents by unlawfully dumping garbage on the area called “Pothuvil Kumbura” in Meethotamulla.
